Welding CPD Event at Coleg Cambria - 6th February

ISEiW is delighted to announce a Welding staff CPD event on 6th February at Coleg Cambria, Bersham Road, Wrexham (LL13 7UH). The event will run alongside the Skills Competition Wales welding competition. Jake Rambaldini, former WorldSkills UK Training Manager and a key figure in the WorldSkills UK national competition, will lead the session. Jake will provide expert training on tasks completed in both Welsh and UK competitions, focusing on areas where competitors often lose marks, such as stop/start areas (commonly with MAG and MMA welding) and ensuring the correct size of welds is achieved.

The event will take place from 10:30am to 3:00pm. For those travelling more than 2 hours, ISEiW will offer a travel subsidy of £150 per person.

This is an excellent opportunity for staff to gain valuable insights into competition-level welding and to enhance their professional development.
