SCW22 Satellite Host Parties
It's with great pleasure that we bring you the opportunity to host a Skills Competition Wales Satellite Awards event in 2022. The Skills Competition Wales Awards in 2022 will take a hybrid approach to its delivery and, similar to 2021 the Awards will be broadcast live from a studio with professional presenters.
In 2022 however, we also seek partner organisations to host their own ‘watch-parties’ to present each of the competitors with their participation certificates and the winners with their medals (these will be sent to each venue ahead of the event). Through this approach we create an environment for celebration and hope to raise the profile of vocational education and training across Wales. You may choose to invite competitors’ family, friends, employer and some VIP’s including, board of governors, local MP’s etc.
In addition to the ‘watch-parties’, we are looking to find 6 partners to be actively involved in the live event through a direct satellite link that is broadcast back to the studio and live streamed as part of the overall event.
We are looking for 6 organisations who:
- Are dispersed across Wales
- Have the necessary facilities to deliver the event
- Have the support from senior management and the relevant departments to make the event successful, for example IT and Marketing etc
Further details can be found in the application pack including:
- Date and times of event
- Benefits of being a satellite centre
- Facilities and support provided to host a successful event
