Join us between the 17 November and the 7 December where we'll be shining the spotlight on skills across Wales. Our aim is to bring together tools and resources and offer those with a keen appetite to learn and develop the opportunity to SKILL UP.
There will be blend of sessions available for tutors, mentors and employers as well as those for students, apprentices and trainees. The programme of activities are fully accessible online and free to attend.
Each of the sessions detailed below will be delivered through Zoom.

Skill Up in Web Design |
This session will demonstreate the core modules of the Web Design competition (layout, design, client-side and server-side) including an oportunity to run through the competition brief and marksheets. The session is suitable for learners, apprentices and trainees. |

Skill Up in Automotive Technology |
Using the online platform Electude, this session will test automotive troubleshooting skills. The session will be split in to three sections providing opportunities for learners of varying levels. This session is suitable for learners, apprentcies and trainees. |

Skill Up in Nail Painting |
Demonstrations and activity led focusing on Nail painting techniques. The session will focus on the techniques required for painting with Red nail polish. The session is suitable for learners, apprentices and trainees. |

Skill Up in Marzipan Modelling |
Demonstrations focusing on the core modules in the Pattisserie competition. This session will focus on Marzipan Modelling and will require learners to undertake a task of creating two identical disney characters utilising marzipan modelling techniques. The session is suitable for learners, apprentices and trainees. |

Join Jade Jones, Team GB Taekwondo Athlete, who won Gold in the 2012 and 2016 Olympic Games. Jade will be talking about her journey to the worldstage, discussing all things from drive and dtermination, through to dealing with pressure and sacrifices. |

Skill Up in Napkin Folding and Cocktail Making |
Demonstrations focusing on the core modules in the Restaurant Service competition. This session will focus on Napkin folding and cocktail making and will require learners to undertake a task to a specified criteria. The session is suitable for learners, apprentices and trainees. |
